Out of the given choice it would have to be the Porsche. Its the practical sports car and you will definately turn heads if thats what youre looking for. But I dont think the Cayman will be cheap. I expect it to be priced between the Boxter and the 911 Carrera

The RS4 would be the second preference. Loads of performance in a saloon car. I dont have an idea of the pricing though

I would go for the RS4. Specs aren't everything, but a 420bhp V8 with quattro does count for something. Its kind of practical to drive in India too, relatively speaking. I agree with Jeremy clarkson, the Cayman's kind of an in-betweener, kind of i-cant-afford-a-911 car. The 350z is from a segment behind, if I'm not wrong.

If I had your kind of money, I'd probably go for a Audi S8 with that V10 Lambo engine - but then i've always been a 3ucker for those 4 rings

350Z. I was about to say Cayman, but there will always be that feeling of being a little shortchanged in that car. And the options are very pricey.

350Z has everything going for it. Looks, power(more than the Cayman), reliability. It wont depreciate badly because it has a good image. I would go for the Z.

It depends on why you are buying car
Are you buying it for your pleasure ?
OR
Are you buying it for people to take notice?

If its for people to take notice then its gotta be Porsche
Or else Its between RS4 or 350Z
Personally I would go for 350Z but
RS4 is also great and it has legendary AWD

Cayman was manufactured to fill gap between Boxster and 911
So it lacks that something

Thanks a lot for all the replies

i need a car which is fast and has some scope for modification if required later though i'll be driving in Delhi all the cars selected here are gud even as stocks.

but i need a car which is rare in India and gr8 fun while driving and i think Caymen being officially launched in India will become a common site because of its pricing, looks that’s why i think my mind is just stuck on a 350Z as its the cheapest out of the three and not there in Delhi & also i don’t think more than 2-3 in India.

U can still opt for the base Corvette at $45000

Finally , if U are willing to spend INR 60 laks on the Cayman , I would strongly suggest to spend 5 laks more and get a ZO6
unfortunetly you cant have the Z06 here since its a LHD only..it would be hard to make that car RHD..but if anyone..I should be the one getting it first to India atleast I want that to be the case

Sure, Cayman was designed to take up a niche between the Boxster and the 911, doesn't mean it lacks something. It never desired to become a 911, the 911 is a rear-engined layout, the Cayman is a mid-engined layout. The 911 is starting to take form as an extremely capable GT, except the odd maniac RS versions. The Cayman is supposed to bring back the good old days of a light, precise, responsive, mid-engined sportscar, which I think it does darn well. Of course badly misses a LSD, with it's inside wheel smoking in most videos. Blame it on the bean counters, but most companies are run by them today. Sure it's expensive, you are paying for quality and Porsche badge.

Clarkson was probably grinning ear-to-ear when he was driving the Cayman, if he wasn't he probably has quite a few dead nerve endings. But, of course, he must diss a good car and a German car at that, otherwise he won't be cool enough, and they won't sell as many TG issues.

The Cayman, IMHO.

Buy it, keep the sound system off, & hear the tight mechanical scream all day. Whenever the car passes my place, I drop whatever I'm doing & just listen to the engine... it's truly other-worldly mate...

hi people

well if you watch Top Gear then you would have seen that the RS4 is about 0.5 to 1 sec faster than the cayman
