Guys try this
I got my Tachometer for Indica DLS 2003 Model. Sent a cheque to them, and recieved the part in 2 days in excellent condition. 50rs paid to TASC to fit it. There was a wire coming into instrument cluster. Its black in color with little white line. Actually the wire from alternator to the instrument cluster.

Regards
Rahul

Hi,

I had a 5" Monster RPm in my esteem. Unfortunately no pics. You will have to fit it just above the AC vent.

Best place to get the rpm is from the ECU. But, u need to know the ECU diagram to get the correct point.
Other ways to install it too, you can avoid the ecu route altogether, easiest way set the selector to 2 cylinder and link it to the coil, if that is not possible hack into the wire on the orig RPM meter in the car, however please take care as this will have to be done by a skilled person.

1) There is only 4,6 and 8 cyl option.

I am looking at a basic tachometer to be fitted in Getz 1.3. Which are the available brands (and prices) and where can I get it installed?

I remember having read elsewhere that Pricol is the cheapest at Rs 800. Does it have a shift light? (BTW what exact purpose does a shift light serve?)

Also, is anyone aware what will be the cost of retrofitting the GLX instrumentation cluster in GL model?

My hunt for the illusive "Pricol" tacho

My hunt for the illusive "Pricol" tacho

Response from shop's / dealers ?

1. Do they have Tacho ?
2. What is a Tacho ? (can you toll me if it'll improve mileage ?)
3. Its not available anymore.
4. I'll try and will get back (never gets back)
5. Its not available and we have xxx brand ranging from 2k to 8k.

Mails to id's in the Pricol sites have bounced.
