I feel like Einstein today My beat has the Autocop Central locking, and boy are the sounds loud! The reverse and lock/unlock are pretty loud, and in night I always felt guilty using the car. For that reason, I stopped using the car after 9, so that I won't have to reverse after 10PM and disturb everyone's sleep. I tried the combo (press * and then within 2-3 seconds press lock/unlock button) with varying time intervals, ranging from microseconds to 3 seconds. Yet the car refused to silence itself.

Had a talk with Autocop Pune service guy, and even he guided same thing. No avail. So he asked me to come over to his office for demo. While I was getting ready, I though I am a reasonably literate man, and should be able to solve this myself.

So tried it again with some different style, and voila! It worked! Finally the car sound along with its reverse horn is muted. Now will my life begin as night rider

I have the silver+black autocop remote. I tried the following combo which worked:

For mute unlock/lock:
Press * and quickly press and hold the unlock/lock key. In 2 seconds the car will unlock/lock silently. Now even the reverse sound is muted.

This is a temporary operation, that is the mute will hold only till the car is locked. Next unlocking will be loud unless you follow the same steps. The default mode is sound (non-mute).

I know this is a small discovery, but I hope it will be helpful to all the searching souls.

Need help disabling auto door lock on my Autocop. I have the 2 button remote.

I know it is a dipswitch setting but cant find it online nor can I find the manual.

PS: When I posted a separate query, the mods deleted it. If it is already answered, request somebody to please point me to the answer. I could not find it with search terms like autocop, autocop dipswitch or autocop auto lock. Thanks.

Is there a way to find out what frequency these remotes open in? I’m trying to order a new remote case online, as the older one is broken, and ones available in the market are not really good. If I can find the frequency, I could order an older Hyundai one.
