Lamp Specs

Could anyone please help me with the bulb specification(900?/H?) for the new Esteem's Headlamps. Also the size of the Foglamp Assembly(round) which will fit in the original slot of LXi.

Q:I want to get these from US so will the spec be the same or is it different?

Thanks,
Dmitri

The Esteem runs H4s in the main lamps, and H1s in the fogs, if I'm not mistakn.

Sorry V1P3R, But its H3 that goes into the OE (new)Esteem Fog Lamps. I changed the bulbs in my esteem vxi to the white bulbs and i can confirm that its H3. And H4 it is for the Headlamps.

Cheers

Fog Lamps in my car are the standard round ones which come in the new esteem vxi, mine is a vxi so i got these from the company itself. I changed my headlamp bulbs to crystal vision(white lights) and so i needed matching bulbs for my fogs as well. So i got white bulbs for them as well(H3) which were some chinese company, i dont remember. H3 in crystal vision are not available in india.

How is the crystal vision bulbs? Is it as brighter as the normal 90/100? I also want to upgrade my headlamps. I dont want to put in the 90/100s as i dont want to alter the relays as well as damage the bulb holder and headlamp.

How is the light coming out from the bulbs? Is it dazzling? Will we get caught by cops? Please send me the model number of the bulb so that I can try sourcing one from US.

What model number? Its just Philips Crystal Vision H3. You will surely get it in bangalore. The light is pure white, i don't think you should have a problem with these.

Its definately not as bright as the 90/100 bulbs byt are say 10% better than the OE bulbs. I find them sufficient for my use since i did not want to play with the electricals in my car and void the warranty in the process. Amd also i hear that the 90/100s or the 100/130s have a yellowing effect on the reflector of the Headlamp, didn't want to risk that. Overall i am happy with the Crystal Visions, they have a lot of appeal!

Cheers
