Re: Ventilated Seats aftermarket?

Opening up an old thread. Guess we have a lot of new products in available in the market now. Saw a lot of them in Amazon , bud sadly none of them have proper reviews. Is there any BHP'ian who is using any of these after market car seat cooling cushion? I would definitely love to spend a few thousands on something that works.

Re: Ventilated Seats aftermarket?

Bumping into this thread, inactive for 2 years.

Presently even with AC fully on, my back is always dripping in sweat. Will any non-electric solutions like wooden beads help to reduce this ?

Need recommendation/feedback for anyone who has installed aftermarket ventilated seats.

Edit: My drive is Creta 2021 SX

Re: Ventilated Seats aftermarket?

Re-igniting the thread again.

Anyone here has tried and tested aftermarket cooled seats?
Any recommendations?

I have a very sweaty back - definitely would like to invest in a good aftermarket one if there is any?

I suggested this in another thread but posting this here as well. Check out the link below :

Looks like a well made kit and fairly moderate DIY, you would just need the help of a seat upholstery/cover guy to remove and then refit the fabric. It's a costly affair but well worth it in my opinion if the car of your choice doesn't come with this feature. I tried searching for the parts list for Hyundai and Kia cars on Boodmo for possibly a cheaper DIY but Hyundai and Kia cars don't have a parts catalogue with diagrams available on Boodmo

Re: Ventilated Seats aftermarket?

Using this -

https://www.amazon.in/dp/B06XZ4YBVW?...FM8R4H13N7657H

Wowobjects - has a big fan below, few small fans in back. Makes a bit of sound, but well worth it. You'll get used to the constant noise soon.
I am in coastal region, this has made the ride a bit sufferable. Have tried 8-9 hour long drives, no sweat in back or under.

cons - sound and having to switch it on every time (nitpicking me!)

Re: Ventilated Seats aftermarket?

This thread is timely and spellbinding. Ventilated seats are a must-have feature in hot India.

However, I find that most of the after-market solutions involve copy & paste and temporary solutions. The workability, longevity, aesthetics etc of these solutions is not exactly premium.

Yesterday, I came across this video, of a more permanent solution.

Is something similar on offer here, in India?

Comments pl?

The leatherette seat covers in my i20 cause me to have a wet back of shirt when I drive. Wooden beads have given some relief, I would say 50%.
The natural leather on my Swift Dzire (now sold) were very comfortable.
