Thanks Fuelled, Beemer, Dodgeviper, jkdas

@BOB - It's been with me since new and just had it made new again!!

@ JK - As Fuelled mentioned it's a piggyback chip which advances the ignition and pumps in more fuel and air resulting in a slightly larger bang and thus makes the engine produce more power. Now the VTEC has enough top-end as is but this really helps the low-end issues and now she starts pulling from 1500rpm onwards. The straight through exhaust also no dobut helps in this.

Its a bolt-on fit and can be taken out anytimme you like without any issues. The cost for my car was around 12.5k. Which for the resulting improvement in performance was great VFM in my opinion!!

Thanks once again to Fuelled & Hellspawn for all the compliments!

Whoa! guysssssss... look at it. 12.5k and that solved his missing lower-end grunt issue and boosted his bhp to 120.... kya baat hai. Compared to things like Pete's (ok for diesels but still...) the cost sounds like music to the ear.

Hi iraghava, great paint-job.

Where did you get your chip upgrade from, & any idea if it's available for the 1.5 Lancer?

HI iraghava,
jus saw ur car pics ,the paintjob is commendable and car looks like a bomb now....
i am also planning to get a colour change for my lancer from silver to ........(still thinking),i've heard a good paintjob might cost anything b/w 32-36k but with a paintjob like ur's its really VFM.

@sucka: 32-36k is mighty expensive. I recently got my Lancer painted from silver to black. You can take a look at my garage for some pics.
Cost me 24k using Standox brand of paint. Dupont and ICI are cheaper.

hi razor ,
i completely agree with u on that bro and have seen ur car as well and that also looks awesome , and the price 24k for the same seems like a good deal and i wonder how u managed to get it done in the same price, however i have checked with a couple of good workshops and the quotes that i've got for the same is ranging b/w 32-35 k as yesterday itself i went to pandit and co. and he also quoted me 36 k for the colour change job. i would just jump in for a deal like you's without any second thoughts at 24k...
