Optra 1.6 modz

Need to know on what i can do at minimal cost to boost up the efficiency of my 1.6 engine. So far i put in denso iridium plugs (heat k22). everything else is standard... K&N filters over here cost RM300 plus. By the way, is the model number 33-2330? will it fit the 1.6 engine?

Look around the site in the Technical and Modification forums. Just use the search feature and you'll find everything you need.

why don't you look at the tri-phase that viper has to offer. boom shiva has installed the same on his optra 1.6 and apparently it has had some good results.

hey there !! well theres loads you could do ! go in for the basic tried and tested stuff!! dont try any of those cheapie mods available online !! well you could first get a k&n filter get either a stock replacement filter or the conical one with a cold induction kit!
next you need to get a freeflow exhaust complete from the headers to the muffler !! that should give you some boost , and after the k&n and freeflow will definately make you feel the existance of your plugs as you cant really feel much difference the 2 of these basic mods!! anything above this will turn out to be expenssive !! a good free flow and k&n would cost something around 10-15k here in india (inr)!
