This Alibag based company manufactures adventure machines for use on land and water. The range encompasses ATV's, motor trikes etc. The company has a car based on the Lotus Seven in the pipeline. They also make speed boats and power catamarans in case you have a fancy for the waters.

One model that attracts your immediate attention is the LMG 1800 Creation Two which will get its lines from the AC Cobra. This soft top, four seat roadster comes with a light weight Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) body and super wide 255/50 R15 tyres. Sunil Chandra from LAW says that the LMG 1800 will use a HM Ambassador chassis along with its 1800cc Isuzu petrol engine. The Isuzu engine in the Amby ekes out 71 BHP and 13.7 kgm of torque, but will churn out 88 BHP at 5,000 rpm on the LMG 1800. Sunil says that the LMG 1800 with its light weight will have adequate performance, and an MPFI version is planned. The company is trying to have it on sale by May 2013. It will be priced at approximately Rs. 12 Lakh and have most parts sourced from existing Indian cars.

Apart from this, you have the ATV Monster LMG 180, then the Motor Trike Mighty One LMG 800, LMG Flutterby 173 and the Go Kart - LMG Fun 150.

Ironic, since the Chinkara (remember them?) folk were also based in Alibaug, and also built boats (primarily).

Nice looking for a garage-made product. A few vinyl decals might help take the looks up a notch, for a minimal increase in cost.

Shama and Guido Bothe were the couple behind the company! Still around and make Gyrocopters too!

Why cant someone make an affordable, quality sports car type for around 8 to 10 Lakh ?

Here's another offering from Lammergear, custom made for one of their clients. The Sport Demon is built on a donor Honda Unicorn motorcycle. The major changes being grippy Pirelli tyres on the front and back, dual projector LED headlamps and LED stop lamps and what looks like at attempt at Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) on the fake air scoops. The exhaust seems to have been integrated into the rather bulbous tail section. The orange, white and black modification tops out at 152 Kg.
