Team-BHP - Resetting a Webasto Sunroof?

Hi

I have a Webasto Sunroof on my Honda City; about 8 years old.

It has a nice one touch operation to open or close the sunroof. However, after replacing the battery (to the best of my knowledge) something has gone wrong and I have to keep the buttons pressed for it open or close.

An added benefit (?) is that now I can leave the sunroof open when I park; earlier the roof used to auto-close when I switch off.

I had this problem once before & I performed a reset and things became normal. Other than the faint memory that it involved doing something when starting the car, I cant, for the life of me, remember how to reset it. Could not find anything useful online either.

Please help and let me know the procedure for a Webasto Sunroof reset.

You haven't mentioned which model sunroof you have. For the Hollandia 300 the reset sequence is as below.

Switch on ignition, but do not start the car and with the sunroof close, press the close button (down arrow button) and hold it for 5 seconds. Then immediately open the sunroof completely and continue to press down the open button (up arrow button) for 5 seconds. To prevent it from auto closing press the up arrow button once within 3 seconds of switching off ignition.

I dont know the model #. As I said, it is 8 years old.

I did find this manual but did not realize (guess I was not paying enough attention ) the process needed to be repeated with the sunroof open too.
