Hey guys need some help. I purchased the bosch aqt 37-13 plus pressure washer online and got delivery today. There is an inlet for detergent on the back and the instruction manual shows a detergent bottle connected to the inlet with a tube/hose. There is no detergent bottle in the box with the washer so how do i add detergent to the machine? do i need to buy a separate bottle or lance for using detergent? (before purchasing i read that it has an inbuilt reservoir for the detergent)

OK i figured out how to use the detergent. you need to pull at the detergent inlet and the hose comes out which is dipped into any container filled with detergent but there is no foam only soap water which comes out of the lance. Is there any special detergent to create the maximum foam?
While browsing I came across Karcher online retail store which offers cash on delivery. Anyone looking to purchase Karcher product can have a look over it.

Where did you get it for 13k from? I picked up a K 3.550 from fabmart.com for 16,500/- and at that time it was the best online price.

I got it from Metro, in store, in Bangalore. It wasn't even on any special or anything. The 100bar model was on a special with additional accessories free of cost at about 7k that time.

How come Metro is able to give a huge discount of 3.5k (>20%)! I had to shell out 16.5k for my K3.500 from the authorized dealer at Cochin.
As of today Metro Cash & Carry is still only B2B and is not open for retail customers, i.e. you need to own a business establishment with a VAT/ST license etc, before registering to purchase at Metro stores.
All the goods typically carry a high amount of discount at Metro.
Besides they are also a German company :)

I heard that Metro has stopped stocking Karcher products. I presume you got the washer in the first half of 2013? The prices all over the internet are Rs. 16,500/- and above.
Most tools I realize are 20-30% lower in your local city tool market. Stanley tools are standard sold at 30% off list prices in Chennai tools market. I'm sure Karcher is no different.
I purchased mine from Metro in Dec 2012
A question to those using Bosch Aquatak 100 Plus, does the motor go off when Trigger on the spray gun is released & goes on when trigger is pressed. Or one has to switch off-on from the switch on the motor ?
I heard that the newer ones like 35-12, etc. have motor control from the trigger. Which I feel is pretty nifty. Btw how are the new ones(35-12, etc) compared to 100+ ?

I have a 100 plus.
Yes the motor comes on only when you press the trigger. This is provided the motor is primed. If there is loss of water supply when the motor is running then it continues to run even after releasing the trigger . in that case you have to switch off manually

Ok, so this one suits my needs then. Actually local Bosch dealers confused me, they said the newer models like 35-12, etc. have this feature where motor ON-Off is controlled with the spray gun trigger.
Another query, for how much time can 100-plus be used at a stretch without damaging the motor ?

Since bosch (specific model though) a air cooled technology for the compressor, it is advisable to use it not more than 15 to 20 minutes continously. The internals do get damaged and the compressor may seize. Please ensure you do not land up running it dry also even for few seconds. The machine is otherwise designed wonderfully to work, especially at the price it is offered.
Thanks friends, bought a Bosch Aquatak 100Plus Yesterday & used it today. Pretty happy & satisfied with the performance. Only hiccup was the inlet water supply slipping off & short Electric supply wire & spray gun pipe. Other than that it did a fabulous job of cleaning the vehicle.
