Nissan Sunny: How to make it look better?

Everyone knows the Nissan Sunny is not the best looking car in the market. It's front might be good but the rear is awkward due to the bulky bumper. So I need help in modifying the exterior looks of my car.

Current list of exterior mods:

Blackened B Pillar
Exhaust tip finisher.

I am looking to black out a small portion in the rear of the car which might enhance it looks. I will add a pic of the same. Plus I think there is much time and keep pouring your suggestions and ideas on the thread.

Regards,

Achyuth

You get Jaguar style front grill for Sunny. Looks pretty neat. It sticks on the existing grill so no modification needed.

Got these images from net. Front can be moded easily (with better looks) whereas it is quite difficult for the rear.

Can the headlights and bumper from the Scala be fitted in the Sunny? Looking at the shape, I think both of them should fit the Sunny. The Renault looks much better. In black, especially.

No they are quite different actually. Have a look:

The Scala's headlamps have a rounded corner at the lower bottom like the Verna.

The Sunny XV Special Edition comes with a spoiler which looks pretty good. The spoiler is available as an aftermarket accessory and is listed on their website. Looks like a worthy inexpensive addon to me.

The Sunny is one of the better looking C-segment sedans in the market IMO.

Achyuth what is the color of your Sunny? If it has the alloy rims, consider giving it a Black plasti-dip coat. Here's a link to get you started if you are interested - http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/modifi...d-coating.html

The leading edge of the headlight is different. That's why the bumper should also be changed. But it looks to me like Sunny' bonnet and fender can accommodate Scala' headlights and bumper.

Have a feeling that the side profile of Sunny is very plain. May be you can experiment by ornamenting it by adding side beadings.

Q: How to make a Sunny look better?

A: Buy a Scala

On a serious note, you don't buy the Sunny for its styling. The proportions are simply too awkward.

Best is to dress her up with rims, nice number plates etc. Must say that the Impul kit posted by Mr. Boss looks sweet. However, it will be quite a task to import it in India (unless you get a replica made locally).

Re: Nissan Sunny: How to make it look better?

I seen this 'jaguar' front grill mentioned in the service center. But couldn't figure out what it really looks like. Anyone got a pic of it?
And like GTO said...you can only do little to improve the looks. I prefer the spoiler and the muffler cutter. And for the side profile, I have the black color rub protector strip (if that's what you call them) and I feel it makes the car look little more better by having a split there instead of having that plain slab like appearance that stock cars come with.
