Let's all write in to TG and let them know that we're unhappy with what they have done. I don't think we should ask for a printed apology though because that might draw even more unwanted attention.

Still, we should make it to point to let them know how we feel, so they clean up their act in the future.

Anybody has a link/email addy we can post our compliants to?

True, asking for a written apology will garner unwanted publicity from the authorities, just approach them and fire the crap outta them, and like jignesh rightly said, ask them to pay damages!!!!

Hey .. Do you think that asking for damages will be good enough to upgrade certain parts and adding more parts to the car?? I mean you could help us make a account book of what damages to pay and we could match it to getting new parts for our cars wat say?

If privacy and keeping a low profile was important, I think neither of them would have agreed to have TG do a feature on their car.

Lets face it, at the end of the day...writers like to add some masala to help sell mags.

It only makes sense that to clear up the air at T-Bhp.

Seems like these magazine guys have done it again...they just love masalafying, dont they???LOL! Now I really doubt the credibility of that one article which read 700+bhp on one of the blore supras...prolly it was some 550 or something...haha..no wonder E-zens were closing on them!

It has always been the writers charm than the factual glory here in India, specially on rare topics. Jitu, sincerely, I dont think its too much hype yet but people who know whats really in the car will consider u to be a liar to the writer...I think you should claim your damages atleast to teach 'em a lesson...

Infractions: 0/1 (10)

also personally i hated the way the writers have written the story...the devil and soul swapping thingy.very stupid imho.should have written a good, clean technical article rather than a conversation between the devil and the writer or whoever.....

I wold put this in a formal letter to TG. This should be taken seriously and they must be "convinced" into printing an appology in public. It is damn shoddy on their part to (a) not photshop the number plates when they promised to do so (b) mis-represent the cost and quality of the mods done and (c) to make such a hu-ha out of this (given the 2 page spread) that it grabs more attention and can result in a unnessacary and dangerous headache for the car owner.

In fact it would be a good idea to make the above as public as one can so that TG does not do this other unsuspecting car owners and so that their reputation for correctly stating facts and figures is tarnished. In a strange way this can protect Ford Rocam too.

Damn now I'm in a dilemma!

I want to read this article to see how badly they've screwed it up. But that means I'll have to buy TG, which in turn will boost their sales and encourage them to keep writing crap...

Just a thought boom... a cheaper or rather free alternative would be to borrow it from someone! That way you will not only be able to read the article but also would not be giving in to their commercialistic money minting scheme!!!

Godspeed,

Alok
