Check on GP road, Mahavir Auto or Dreams Auto on GN chetty. Beware, the Chennai police is cracking down on bright light users saying it causes accidents. You may be pulled up at traffic signals.

Avoid harrasement from these guys. Do you do a lot of highway or low lit driving? If not, stock lights will do.

man the corrolla has two pairs of bulbs in the front when u switch the low beam only one pair is switched on but when high beam is selected both the pairs get on. now the question arises that the chennai shop wala is giving u two pair of xenon for 24k then it is a very nice price but if he is giving a single pair then it is very high. about getting 10000k corolla it can accept all the xenon some of them 4500k, 6000k ,8000k ,10000k ,12000k, 14000k.

here is a pic of the 6000k in swift and 800k in a corolla...

Guys,
Are Xenons/HID's 'much' better in terms of beam throw? I'm using CrystalVisions at the moment and tho they are fine for city driving, they are just useless on the highways.

Is there really such a difference????

I've used DiamondVisions (5000K) bulbs and felt at times that they were not AS bright as normal yellow halogens.

K (Kelvin) figures have nothing to do with the power/wattage.
It denotes the colour temperature..4000 or so is daylight.
Anything above this makes the light very blue and quite unusable on the roads
