Hello Guys, After building some fast cars, electric cars, 4x4 cars, I have taken up some Drift cars in my company recently.

Fortunately have enthusiastic customers for the same as well!

So here goes. Started off from a totally screwed up Mazda Miata, 1990. 1.6L I4, RWD.. Here are the pics before starting work.. Totally screwed..

When the car came, it leaked oil, fuel and coolant everywhere possible.
the Diff was literally tied in place by some jugaad broken mounts. Driveshafts were held in place by the suspension, Engine was misplaced, mounts totally broken and shifted.. A complete disaster.. So we started opening it, and rectifying everything one by one by the books (as its suppose to be done.) Ordering parts, Refurbing everything to be awesome, and reassembling. The Car's getting a new soul. Now we are also upgrading the internals.. Its going to be a crazy one.. Keep yourselves glued here, I'll keep you'll posted. Promise you some sideways action real soon.

Now she's done half way, I'll post step by step pics soon.

This is how it was btw..

We Decided to Work Step by Step, System by System..

So here goes. Stage 1:

Suspension rebuild.. So this is how crappy, leaky, destroyed, and full of play, rusted, and everything bad to ruin your drive it was..

Hemank

After Removing all the unwanted stuff, and all the Rust from all the Arms, by various processes (all done in house), we Powder coated them (in house facility) and this is how they are now. A full new Bushing set ordered to fit in. Also ordered some neat coil overs ;)

Also repeated the above mentioned process for all the subframes.. Gosh that took long, but were Clean and New after procedure..

More coming soon...

While we wait for suspension parts, its time to start stage 2 in parallel. So stage II, transmission. Took the transmission off. Man the clutch was full of oil. Got rid of the leaks, treated the transmission housing surface externally. Resulted in a new like transmission. Ordered for a performance clutch.

The transmission was mounted and removed again. This was a pic taken before second removal.

The diff was worse than we expected it to be. After analysis, we arrived to the following conclusion. Diff rear casing is of this car. Diff front casing and internals are not of this car. This explained the jugaad broken front bracket on the diff and the driveshafts not even mating properly.

The car looks good from outside. Hope there will be less exterior work. However the internal component photos show the real picture. Was the car involved in accident earlier?

Keep posting more updates.

Yes the car had a crash sometime in the past. This has forced us to re work the straighten bits and pieces of the chassis and re allign stuff. more coming up...

Its Funny how only 2 people have replied. Anyways,

While the suspension parts are on the way, we are currently Making the Engine awesome.. Planning on a Turbo too! But first its time to rebuild it with nice internals :D

The Oil Leaks were so bad..And the Oil was so Gummy... OMG. the Oil was probably never changed in this car. Only topped up. Sludgy crap.

Enjoy the Pics..
