MODs please merge the thread with an existing if there is one. My limited searching capabilities did not yield a result.
This is an open question to the gurus out there.
With racing and rallying, there are side effects, the side effect has got amplified after the Polo R Cup.
The side effect of your stock car not being good enough.
While I am in no mood to go through a DSG transplant for the Polo, I am looking to see if there are proper DOG box bolt on kits for the Polo GT TDi
Reasons:
1) Looking at clutch less up shifts and down shifts
2) Usage is going to be mostly on highways and ghats
3) Left foot braking all the time
It is still a family car but my family is insane enough to support me now :Shockked:
What am I looking for:
1) Looking for a good bolt on kit, Not interested in experimenting with local experiments or tweaks
2) Red rooster is looking to be too expensive to even have a discussion

If & when there are options available, it'll cost you big $$$ though. Bring import duties into the picture and it'll probably work out cheaper for you to sell your Polo & buy the GT TSI DSG variant (or the 1.5L diesel + DSG that's coming up soon).

Is this coming on Polo GT or Vento? I remember you had mentioned diesel Vento DSG but didn't know if this would be available on Polo as well.

Diesel + DSG in the Polo? Really? WOW - that would be something!! Pls reconfirm :)
Why would you want the hassle of long term ownership of a Dog box on a road car?

The 1.5 Polo diesel with a DSG is rumored at this moment. The
facelifted Polo will get the 1.5 liter diesel engine, but the rumors seem to be strong about it coming equipped about with the 6 speed DQ-250 gearbox.
The same combo could make
an appearance on the Vento too.
