Best time for engine mods??

I own a Ford Ikon (April 2006) and it has run only about 2000 kms till now, What i wanted to ask was when is the best time to get some engine mods, like a typhoon kit and Filter from K&N and a free flow exhaust? should we wait for atleast 5-6k kms as some ppl told me? Or can we get them any time.

is it a 1.6 or 1.3, either wise you have to wait for warranty to expire and then do the mods, you can upgrade to bigger rims, standard k&n and pugs without hampering warranty

Actually I am not thinking about the warranty much, cause that way I wont be able to do anything... the car is about 2k kms old now, thinking of getting the Typhoon kit and Free flow from automech. Rims have already been upgraded and will get platinum plugs soon.

Hi,

Would recommend you to switch to Mobil 1 oil and use OWS Iridium Plugs. You will be very happy.
