orvm and door handle painting

I spoke to a number of car accessory guys and they told me that i could get the swift's orvms+door handles painted and the cheapest quote i got was 1200 bucks.Could have spoken to psycho but I knew he would be busy with his tuning work and so I didnt want to pester him.

I was just thinking(read previous word twice)about using those touch up spray paints (com paint i think)as these are made to match the shade of all maruti cars.

So basically,after a coat of primer,then spray paint and a professional clear coat,will i get an effect similar to the zxi mirrors and handles??This would work out considerabley cheaper.
Feasibility comments,suggestions,pros and cons

I think 1200 is a very reasonable amount for the job. You will not be able to get the same level of finishing yourself.
