Maruti 800 rear wiper

We'd like to have a wash-wipe system on backlight of our 2002 Maruti 800.
Has anybody installed this on their Maruti 800 (1987-to-current model)?
I know that high-end Zens and Altos came with them.

Seeking your experience-based recommendations.

Did this on my 1990 model 800. Unfortunately I have sold the car so cant show you a pic of this. Although this helps during rains, the motor and the wiper will considerably increase the weight of the rear door. The single rear door Spring(cant think of another word for that black thing that keeps your rear door open. Zen and Alto have 2) will not be able to take this increased weight and it would be really irritating as you would have to manually hold the rear door every time you need to keep/remove something from rear. So if you do this do think of adding another spring or some other way. Hope this helps
Cheers

This is something I would love to get done on the Octavia as well. The earlier models came with the rear wash/wipe, but the cost cutting meant that it didn't make it to the Indian made Octi's.

Consider using Rain X or similar to enable the water to bead and run off.

Thats ok, but the grime and dirt becomes a problem at times. Wish they had left the rear wiper and got rid of the wing mirror heaters instead!

Apparently, the Octy abroad never came with a RRW then customers demanded it so it was later added. India seems to be rather backward on this - witness the new Wagon R - rear wiper no longer an option -

Ram - consider using a ZEN or wagon R rear wiper components. Since rear screen is flat, there are not too many issues
