Hi Zaphod,

See the following links to know more about Tri-Phase.

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/access...-report-2.html

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/modifi...n-1-3-a-2.html

A 4-2-1 header is basically a free flow system designed for low end and mid range power where 4 individual tuned length pipes merge into followed by 1 pipe. All lengths are calculated as per engine specs.

Thanks for the info Viper, I'll just go through those links,

Does the 4-2-1 system affect top end in any way ?
Also does Automech make this type of exhausts ?
And by low to mid - I'd love to see an increase starting from the ~1000-1500 to about 4500 as 99% of the time I'm in that range. At the same time I wouldn't want to see any loss in the upper range - 4500-6500 (baleno redline ?) for those rare (but precious) moments when I want to let 'er rip !

cheers

I have a automech 4-2-1 header in my accent, its isnt designed for top end but its does help topend more than the stock header while midrange is noticably peppier after the exhaust job, cant say about low end as the accent is not so great below 2500rpm.

@zaphod:i think the price he quoted for the exhaust includes the headers as well.since its mild steel the expansion chamber, muffler and the intermediary pipes would cost close to 6000 and the headers would cost 7000.check with him cos i had got headers and an and the exhaust kit for 11000 bucks(for a zen).

Looking at what you want.
Here in Bangalore, the whole setup Viz. K&N Extreme Filter, Headers and an engine tune up and also if you want to have a custom made exhaust. will cost you 18000 net.

I got that done on my OHC. the thing fly's now

Hey Zaphod! So its performance upgrade time eh?

i think you should go for a Full freeflow with headers et all, this will make the maximum difference in driving. And you can tune a freeflow to be near silent. Perf. Auto noida does charge a premium for their work. Our fellow bhpian manveet did get the air filter custom installed by them and he was too happy with it. Bharat Car in Karol Bagh is a dealer for K&N, he also stocks Automech FFE. You could get a better quote from him. Btw we have a Bunch of cars running VIPER FFE's and everyone is happy with the sound + performance + daily drivablity.
