Hey !

Im after a sizeable quantity of the neon type LED's..
(approx 3 - 6 mm size).


I have seen loads of them on rickshaws and the indicabs here, thats available at most accessory shops... but I reckon those are just LED's with cheap coloured mouldings.

Im after BRIGHT stuff, thats used for under body ktis etc.

Also where can I find diodes to wire the LED's... and some heat shrink wrap/tape

p.s :This is for a non-automobile related project btw, heheh !

Im sure India makes and exports such stuff (well maybe regular led not neon type)........ even otherwise the inexpensive asian imports will also be around. just need to search. thanks anyway

These type of power LEDs are available in market. The white ones are available at Kolkata for about 15-20 Rs. a piece.

have installed the led strips on my headlights ,these are 30cms long and have connected them with my parking light wires.

Emperor sells these. In demand and hence shortage.

i saw them at emperor. was 1.8k there. I could make them for less than a tenth of the cost , so didnt buy. havent figured out how to hook them up with the parking light wires though
