PS : I guess it is just a matter of getting used to Indica PS. With no time to do exercises and all, I take driving Indica 60 Kms per day as an opportunity to build my arm muscles, biceps and all clap:

AC : It is actually good for the cars in Indica's segment. GLX comes with a 1400 cc engine, so it is not adversely impacting the car performance. For GL through GLG versions, it is a 1200 cc engine, and I felt the drag when test driving these versions. These versions, WagonR and Santro, I didn't like their performance with AC on.

Fitted Roots Vibrosonic with relay and a toggle switch. Retained stock horn. Rs. 1350 Installed, exactly the way I wanted and where I wanted. Two roots on the sides under front bumper and stock horn at the center in front of condenser. Will try to post picture later.

One - 2 blips from stock horn
Wait 10 seconds
Two - 2 blips from stock horn
Wait 5 seconds
Three - break the hell loose using Roots.

Now I complain about very very very few drivers :Cheering:

One query though ... Normally, the temprature gauge is at center while driving. I never used to look at it. Last 2 days, while driving on highways, doing 90+ Kmph, I noticed it falls down and stays between center and cold. Later when I join city traffic, it goes back at the center. Is this normal ? Or effect of fitting stock horn in front of condenser ? Or something wrong in fitting the horns ?

Though a bit off-topic here, I'll try to answer this. While on a highway at 90+ kmph you are driving at a steady speed in one gear and you vehicle gets continuous air flow from outside to coll the engine. Hence this phenomena.

While in City you are driving at a variable speed with lot of braking, changing of gears, stopping, slowing down etc. In this the radiator fan has to pull outside air in to cool the engine; especially true in case of fans not controlled by a thermostat.

However, all of this depends on the ambient outside temperature as well.

I want to fit a good sounding loud horn in my Swift Diesel. But the accessory shop guys said there is no space in diesel swift to fit a new horn. Is that true?

Not true. I have fitted a new horn in my Swift Diesel. You need to place it behind the left side of the front bumper. Turn the wheel to extremely right and from there the mechanic can fix the horn behind the bumper.

I have put Fiam Windtone. Is much better then the stock and sounds the same as Optra/Skoda

I have Swift, VXI. Can I fit Bosch-Symphony or Root's directly in place of OEM horn, without any change in wiring/relay circuit?

Petrol Swifts need relays/cut outs.

Diesels have inbuilt relay/cut outs.

Have a stebel 3 pipe pressure horn with fiam pipes in my 800 since many many years.Has 2 options of normal non musical tone for the city and musical tone for the highway.
Costed me 1500 bucks 7 years back but now are available for 850 bucks.I Retained the fiam pipes as they give a perfect musical tone where as the stebel ones sounded too harsh/and not pleasing to the ears.

Are these horns easily available in India? My Bosch horns in Palio D gave up after 1.5 years and this time i am looking for horns that sound like Skoda/Optra.

If not Fiam, are there any alternatives?

Very much available. Just go to any shop and ask for Skoda/Optra horn or Windtone Rainbow. Costs Rs. 450

I have noticed that after installing the vibrasonic, my OE horn has become rather weak. I rarely use it now. Any idea why?
