i guys i would like to share with u all the snap of this modified mahindra.It has got a custom hard top , 15 inch wheels shod with 235 tyres,a 6 cylinder toyota engine, 4 inch of lift ,power steering , power servoed brakes , electrically adjustable seat, ahigh end stereo , sun roof , etc. etc. etc. It used to belong to afreind of mine ( he has sold it now). As seen in thesnap it is leading the rally parade for the INRC goa round in 2002.

Whoa, yet another Mahindra lover!!! I think I know this 540. Is/Was it Red? I had seen this A-W-E-S-O-M-E 540 at a Goan great escape.

Since ur online rite now,
Is it possible to retrofit a power seat? What abt the cabling?Battery capacity etc?? and the rails ofcourse,

Am pretty certain it is possible, but very complicated...especially in a water-leaking vehicle like the Mahindra Jeep. Battery capacity need not be changed, as the power seats will consume juice only for those brief moments when the seat is being adjusted. I think he would have transferred the kit from another car.

hi

sorry about the snap i am posting it right now.This jeep was used by the Chief safety Officer for Rallye de Goa 2002 hence all the stickers like " Officials" and "all areas".The suspension is fantastic of this jeep.It is prepared in goa from ground up by a professional garage. i am tri told u that my friend sold this jeep , so what next? wait till the new jeep is completed I will have the snaps as soon as it is done.

Ha, I got this Jeep right. Remember ogling all over it at the Goan Great Escape in 1999.

Rallystar, You really have an awesome Jeep in there. You are really lucky to pick this machine up.

How is the retro-fitting of the Toyota diesel engine? Also, this Jeep has the 4x4 removed because of the engine switch. Am I right? Even in the picture, I cannot see the 4x4 mechanism at the front.

you mean the electrical winch by the 4X4 mechanism??

and those 235 tyres are bridgstones?

Nope. I cant see the front differential in this Jeep.
