Your fancy tacho and the company installed would work in tandem or are you going to remove the OE? Leaving apart the fact that gizmoing has no logic (I also do.. ), what is the need for this upgrade, if I may ask?

Actualy i was fitting the meters on the right beam (dont know what they call it) i have included a, AIR/Fuel, Volt meter and there was an empty hole for one more meter to fit, as that guy didnt had Oil Temp meter and has a tacho instead, it went as a fancy. this is the story behind having another tacho and as it is a smoke series and looks cool. I am requesting help for the same.

Tabrez : i think you have the Smoked out meters which come in a set of three? and are attached on to the A pillar right? i have one on my santro too and i have the same problem dual coil so the rpm meter shows only half the rpm. I'm gonna get it fixed through manik(driven) in a day or two will keep u updated.

And then if the two tacho's show different readings, you can worry some more and post some more queries.

Why don't you wait for the Oil temp guage instead of having two tachos?
