hey guys
ispoke to my dad and he let me mod my nexia...
i dont wanna sell it as we are gettin a merc e-270 and we will need a small car so there is no cash remain
anyway since if we sell it, it will be after a year so the resale value will be low so my dad let me modify it
i plan to put 15inch goodyear eagle f1s on alloys
i was wonderin if they will fit on my car with no fouling on the body
the size will be 195/55 or 65 / r15
also how much will a freeflow with the works cost
im puttin k and n filters in the car and polishin and portin the head...
i may consider a twin turbo and nos in a later stage...
is it adviseable
i plan to keep it for a good 5 - 6 years and after 3yrs when i get my license i plan to drag in it...
im aiming for a sub 15sec quatremile timing...
anyhelp willl be appreciated

hmmm
A DOHC engine for a drag

Approx cost for entire freeflow with headers, filters and exhaust----40k
small turbocharger with intercoler ----40K
NOS ----40k

Stage 3 changes , no no no no no no , Nexia aint the right car for it

U can PM ksmotorsport who is a member.

a free flow and a filter wud be more than enough .as porting requires great precision .if wrongly done can wreak ur engine.i have seen a brand new accent getting wasted due to porting.u cud invest in a good set of tires and alloy rims.
nos is also a no no ,as its too expensive .

and wat do ya mean by u will be getting ur license after 3 years

u can ask ks for the filters and call automech for the free flow.

Nexia alright the pricing given by dipen is perfect ok but nos and all in a nexia I dont think so I have worked on the car man Its a luxury car not built to take that much of power u will have to reinforce a lot of parts mainly the undercarriage and the body nexia has a lot of problems to be frank with its wheel bearings and suspension we use to get a lot of complaints regarding these problems ok if you put nos u got to change ur got to put bigger brake disc so check it out

Nexia is a cool car to mod.But dunt play too much with the engine, like to the level to nos and stuff.
At the max....air filter,fuel,filter(both K&N),Free flow exhaust,headers and throttle.
A TC is not advisable for the Nexia.
Contact KS,he`s the best judge.....he`ll guide u all the way.

for the TC's and NOS , Japanese engines are the best to work with.
Korean engines cannot handle so much pressure

In Indian context the best cars to mod would be old City, Lancer, Baleno, Mondeo, etc
Even the Accent and IKOn cannot handle heavy engine mods.

Its suggestable if u stick to the 14" wheels and put 195/60 tyres.15" will be too much for the Nexia. Not advisable enough.
And as far as the Body Kit is concerned,my advise is that "do not go for it".Dunt spend too much on the Nexia,as u wont get the money worth while selling it.
And moreover if ur aiming for drags,it will make the already heavier car more heavy, which will result in losing a lot of time during the run.
Just go ahead and soup-up the engine, without touching the body.
Rest is up2 you......

Another thing.....try and convince you dad on sellin the car if you can.
Chip in that amount and a little more and buy a 98` Honda City. It`ll cost u around 2.5L.With the body-kit and the engine mod with turbos and stuff,it`ll come upto 3.5L approx.
Thats one of the best car to spend on.
Else go in for a Lancer 99` for around 3.2L.

Hey Lambo, congrats on the Merc.
I hope thats the E-270 as u mentioned.

Also, I think U must be grateful to Mr. Anil Ambani, who has recently done more justice to yr nick by getting the Gallordo.

did u sell yr 2001 Ikon Zxi ? If yes , how much did it fetch u ?
