This is great stuff. I am also planning to get similar bulbs installed in my fogs. I also have a black Octavia TSI. Thinking of DIY rather than going to an accessories shop.
Had couple of queries if you could help.
- Saw the chrome trip bar in your front lower grill adjacent to the fogs. Looks great on black, where did you get it from, I cannot find it anywhere?
- Have you also replaced the main headlights, lower or high beam? The stock ones are really bad. Doea the D3S in xenons work for both low and high beam?

Great to know that you are owning a TSi too. Welcome to the club. Coming to the answers for your queries...
The chrome strip was ordered from Skodadop, should be easy to get. Probably, somewhere in my review I have added the link to buy the strip. Yup, I agree with you that on black car, the chrome adds a dose of subtle luxury.
I have kept my bi-xenon bulbs stock as of now and haven't tinkered with them. Fogs for now are doing the job of lighting up road ahead well whenever needed. If you are struggling with the lights especially during the rains, I would recommend moving out of the Auto Mode, select Manual Mode and switch on your front fogs, this will marginally improve the visibility.
Don't expect earth shattering lighting on the road, it's just that partial blindness is better than being completely blind on the roads.
Thanks Sawni. Skodadop looks to be a Czech website. Do they deliver to India as well or you got from Europe while travel or something?
Have you seen or heard of the performance of Super Vision D3S bulbs from Aliexpress website? Though they say 60% brighter, but not sure if they are any better than the stock Phillips bulbs?

Yups, they do deliver to India, you may have to collect the item from local post office.

I have heard that the performance is good, but I have personally not used them.

DIY stuff sir! I searched for this all over but didn't get anything to buy. Did some effort and custom made these of the size using the chrome roll I had bought from Ali express couple of years back.

Also coding seems important here but saw some YouTube videos without coding. Should I take my car to the Skoda ASS to get it done ?
