Take no offense, but wherever you've heard ths from, Or whoever has told this to you, This must be given the "misconception of the year" award.

I dare to say that Punto is the best hatchback to drive over a hump.

The thud sound from the rear wheels is mistaken by most to be the hit to the body.
But after some time is spent with this car, Drivers will understand how to take this gal over humps relatively faster without scraping the underbody or without the thud sound.

Actually, you should think twice before giving any other car to a punto driver because he would've got into a habit of going relatively faster over humps than other car drivers.

I can say this because I'm one of them :D.
The humps which I used to take care about in my earlier car, are just some road irregularities for me now.

How did you manage to click this pic? Its a "mirror image" ! :)

Isn't it an eagle at the back? Doesn't look like a spoiler to me !

I took it in the SRVM. :)

Looks more like a dove. But it's wacky nonetheless.

Hi

I got the news source

Quote:

Logan Reflecting Indo-French Harmony

Mahindra-Renault Logan gets a completely new look. The credit for this goes to the three graffiti artists who travelled all the way from France to Mumbai to paint and transform the Logan. With a key motive to reflect Indo-French harmony in an Indian Car, the three creative and highly talented artists painted the Logan.

Applying their artistic abilities and wild imaginations, the trio painted two Logans from bonnet to the rear bumper with innovative and artistic pictures. One of the artist among them has passion for Hindi music and is a die-hard fan of Bollywood legends, Kishore Kumar and Bappi Lahri. So, the two cars were painted with creative images of these legends. You can also find picture of a famous French football midfielder Zidane. With all these it gives a look as if music lyrics have been imprinted on the car along with exciting notes, phrases, and creative images.

Overall, the painted Logans are surprisingly attractive. And one such Logan is found driven by the director of Alliance Francaise de Mumbai. And the other two Logans is expected to be auctioned soon.

Good that you didn't post pics here. It doesn't look half as awful as the monstrosities featured here. The donor car is probably a FORDlol:, looking at the steering wheel.

I agree with you, the car does not look that bad.
BTW the donor car is a Mercury Cougar.

Guys, it's not a bad job. Looking at the pictures, he's come quite close. It's only the insides that are done in a messy way. But overall a good mod job, though I fail to understand why you'd want a false bugatti when the car would never ever have the same performance :D

i think we guys are pushing it a bit too far here.

in my opinion the punto doesn't look that bad. though if he aligns the silencers (they are fake ofcourse) it would be lot better.

love the execution on the hyundai/mustang. he could have chosen beefier tyres though.

in my opinion the dzire, the esteem with the eagle and the SRV few pages back definitely comes under this category - but rest i am not too sure.

if this is the case, then there should be absolutely no one trying out their creativity and just drive stock mundane cars.
and we shouldn't even have a section of modifications on this forum.

each time i go through this thread, i have my confidence shaking for doing anything with my punto (and this car like the swift begs to be tinkered around with).
there is this guy on the fiat forum, who has done lot's of great mods with his punto - and looking at that i thought to try something too - like DRL headlamps (black ones with projectors) blacked out grill, carbon fibre wing mirrors, foglamp assembly and spoiler (a subtle one n not a hanger), blacked out grill partition on the front bumper, smoked out or blackened tailamps and a black roof(maybe). but then i am super scared to find the pictures of my ride here in weird and whacky mod jobs thread!!

i think - somewhere we might be getting out of focus here on this thread.

the only thing i find wacky in there is the spoiler and the paint colour. the execution seems to be clean. from the first picture, looks like he started out trying to copy the Corvette C6 (sort of)!

I guess he was trying to copy a dodge viper, with the projectors he is using and the front face..

attaching a pic for reference

really love the eyes on that lancer.

had a lot of potential in what he started to do but somehow somewhere lost the way on the overall package

The lancer/evo/vette/viper job above;
Riddle me this- what kind of havoc is that nose creating for the under-bay ventilation?
presumably, the radiator is still mounted in the stock position(?).

so much money.
tsk!
