Hi,
Just visit Racing Performance Works They will help you out. They have bolt on turbo kits for the indian lancer, the also have several other performance parts, from cams, springs etc etc

Cheers

Hey,
Well,i dunno but how much ever one works on the City,it does'nt have that sporty appeal. It feels incomplete. Its not a good car to modify.Seen quite a few modified City's but they all suck!!!!

thanx
Hey revtech,
Well, the Indian Lancer is one of the best cars for turbos, provided u have the right mods b4 reachin the turbo stage. As far as the stress is concerned,it depends on a lotta things concerned to the technical and body aspects of the car.

Speed : A stock Lancer is capable of doing 190kmph(speedo) without much effort.Have done it personally on quite a few Lancers. The turbo ones can go upto 230-240kmph,though i have maxed out on 220kmph on the expressway.
A very nice handler.

X

Seen this yellow City today. Looked really amazing in that yellow paint. The bonnet was similar to the green City at Speedrun. Had really good wheels too.

Now that's what i call, speedo error. Same thing with my uncle's Lancer Diesel, his speedo goes upto 170kmph where as the OD report says the true speed is around 138-140kmph.

BTW, my friend's Ikon touched 210kmph on the speedo, as per his claims. According to OD Ikon maxes out at 165-170 kmph.

It's not exactly well modded. Those look like 16" to 18" wheels. What he's done is that he's increased the ride height of the car by fitting bigger wheels, the outer circumference of the tyres are almost touching the wheel arch.

Now, while this car might look good on display, on the road, it would bcome very unstable at high speeds. Imagine the amount of air getting sucked under that chassis, this car is all setup to turn over.

Look at this Modded Civic. it has equally big wheels but see how he's maintained a low ride height. look at the height difference between the bottom of the skirts and the centre of the wheel.

Well,Shan2nu ur definately right bout the speedo thing. But the true speed on 190kmph must've been around 180kmph!!!

Anyways, bout that City. Those are 16" wheels with 205/60 tyres. The wheels come for around 26K in the market.
The ride quality is surely affected.Honda, being a light car cannot digest this at all. This car is basically all show and no go.

I'd wait until that car is tested using a GPS testing device, before i say anything about it's true speed.
