@vishesh - forget the performance mods (for now) , go for 15` alloys and better tyres.!

Guyz...when you mention your preffered set of mods...be sure to mention the brands, the approx costs involved..the upsides and downsides...go for mods which are easily available... and involve no extra maintenance costs in the long run...thanx in advance !!
if u want to retain Fuel efficiency and dont want maintenance costs..
1] 4-2-1 headers for low to mid end power if u are not looking to rev high.
2] muffler for low to mid end power, keep the cat and the stock pipes.
2] porting , polishing.

dont expect much BHP gains , just more driveability/torque at low to mid revs in city driving conditions..
I think this is what you are looking for since you bought a NHC with 77bhp

and leave out the plugs, wires and CAI.

i haven't seen modded NHC's. I have heard of modded swifts. If you are looking for serious power, make 20,000 to 2lak and turbo it (just kidding!!).
i have iridiums and i found that it helps a bit in cold start. no increase in BHP. Free flow will increase BHP. All the cold air intake which you get here are not really cold air intakes. These are just small pipes which sucks in hot air. A good CAI should make a difference. Any free flow filter, good header and better spark will make it peppier.
read the thread 'dude i have bolted 25 bhp' thread.

Incase you claim warranty, Honda wont come to know whether your engine has been ported & polished unless they open it. I know one member here on Team-bhp, one week, engine out of the car, ported polished(stage 2) upgraded cams, forged pistons, forged conrods, FFExhaust, KnN filter yes i am talking about our very own Mclaren1885

Does installing free flow exhaust require removal of catalytic convertor?
If so, wouldn't it be harmful to environment?

Curious to know how K&N Air filter helps increase the performance?

More air goes into the engine so the ECU runs a richer air fuel ratio thereby increasing the performance. Also with KnN the engine breathes better and if you can breathe better wont you run faster?

Yes, you have to do away with the CC, but then everything is in limit and wont in any way affect your PUC? Though emissions will be more but all in limit.

hey buddy all im gonna tel u to do is first run in ur car really wel, believe it or not it makes a huge difference in the overall driveability and performance of the car and the engine, besides that rims and upgraded rubber would really make your car feel so much more driveable at high speeds and corner's,your basic mods could help you with that extra bit of pep,as mentioned earlier a conical filter with a custom housing pipe and a good exhaust with a 4x2x1 header should give you about 5-7 bhp if done well and besides that iridium plugs would provide you better spark to burn a better air-fuel mixture, dont expect any bhp gains from the plugs because they just support better combustion, about the head work since its a new gen honda i would just advise you to get a mild polish job done should make your drive pleasant and peppy dont experiment to much with the car,opt for synthetic lube makes the overall workin process of an engine way smoother and can handle high engine operating temperature's all these mods listed above should make your car revv happy..hope i could help..cheers happy revvin..!!
