I've seen a lot of Type 2 to Type 4 conversions on "AUTOROUNDERS" page on the Instagram. Try contacting them, they are based in Mumbai though. They maybe a help

Brotomotive has done Type 1 to Type 4 conversion. Have a look at this video, this should help. These guys are in Pune. However, Google search shows Brotomotive Bangalore in RR Nagar, am not sure if they are the same guys.

Type 1 and 2 Innova are the best looking ones. Why do you want to ruin it by converting it to Type 4? Restoring it to original shape may be a better option.

We had covered this in our upkitting thread (Upkitting Supercars & Regular Cars | Conversion to higher variants or editions). Someone has a kit for 1.24 lakhs.

Personally, I think a well-maintained Type 1 Innova still looks really good, especially if you match it with nice rims, a stylish number-plate etc. A close cousin recently got his 15-year old Type 1 Innova a fresh coat of black paint from the Toyota showroom itself. Looks awesome. Will also add that the Type 4 is the ugliest Innova in my opinion.

Re: Toyota Innova | Type 2 to Type 4 facelift conversion

One of my friends had converted his 2008 Innova to type 4 in 2017 at Nandi Toyota at Bangalore when his car had a rear shunt. There are many garages who does the Type 1 to Type 4 conversion. I think both the dealers in Kerala i.e Nippon Toyota & Amana Toyota does this conversion as I have seen posts by both AutoStarke and PerfAmana ( both of these are owned by Nippon and Amana group respectively) on this type 1 to type 4 conversion.
If you are looking at aftermarket options, there is a wholesaler in my town who sells this type 4 conversion kit with imported parts and also facilitate conversion excluding painting in a day.

Check CarJJ - https://www.youtube.com/c/CarJJ
I spoke to them few weeks back. They are in Thrissur, Kerala and seems doing a good job w.r.t conversion. Still contemplating whether to convert my Type 1 black Innova to Type 4.
Personally I don't like the Type 4 look, hence the double mind

Autorounders recently expanded to Hyderabad. You needn't travel all the way to Mumbai, if you wish to go with them.

Here’s a pic to prove the same!

The subtle mods executed here are wonderful (barring the dark tints, which are not legal).

If you can visit Kozhikode (Calicut) Kerala then Perfamana does an excellent job. It’s owned by Amana Toyota.
