Re: Modified Safari Pics

Looks great except for the "Moon Rover" thing. Cannot believe it is the Tata Safari.
The interior colour combination could have been better.

Re: Modified Safari Pics

thanks for sharing jkdas, they got more details pics on FB. Though this design is Evoque inspired, I am sure something like this could have been done by TATA. Am I getting a feeling that, Storme may turn out to be lost opportunity.

Re: Modified Safari Pics

@jkdas, I think Tata should learn a thing or two from what these folks have done.If Tata had planned the storme on similar lines a lot of other manufacturers would have rushed back to the drawing board. The fact that the Safari platform though aged has the stance and the class to carry such a drastic modification is really testimony to the UK company who designed it originally

On a ligher note how difficult is this mod?

Re: Modified Safari Pics

Wow Moon Rover concept looks absolutely smashing, only the actual Range rover can match that
This gets me thinking if small garages can do this type of work, why cant big companies?

Re: Tata Safari Storme : Official Review

Has anyone ever chopped off the third row part of the Safari while modding it. To make it a much smaller compact SUV?

Do you really mean to chop off the cargo area ? If so, the dimension ratio of height to width to length will just go for a toss. This will also increase the "toppling" effect of Safari due to the higher ground clearance !

No. Basically if anyone has got rid of any rear overhang there is on the Safari.

The cargo area is also the area which has the higher roof.

There was a three door variant of the first gen safari either as a concept or for the European market, not sure.
