You can have it as MGA from the dealer.

Congrats on the purchase. A real- wise decision, although the waiting periods can be irritating.

MGA is reasonably priced. Should be the RD brand. Another option is the Xenos brand. All Maruti OE power windows tend to have problems after some time. Both brands offer only 1 year warranty. MGA would be safer to maintain and service. Plus no crying about warranty by the dealers.

few days ago i went to check out about power windows for my car from the M.A.S.S

they told me they only do the front and not the rear

meaning if you get it done from them they will only power the front windows

is it true for all M.A.S.S and the price given was around rs5200 and from outside its rs 4800( only front)

Maruti advises only a front power window retrofitment. Maybe due to the wiring to the rear doors.

Xenos has a 4 door kit with a upmodule. cost about 11K. I personally dont like the kit as the switches doesnt gel with the interiors.

I've seen Swifts with aftermarket power windows (all 4). Xenos and Autocop are 2 manufacturers. Must be more...

Fix autocop power window as the switch matches with the interiors

a kit for the front two windows costs 4k and is branded as autocop scorpio.i think you might have been overcharged.
but what matters is the quality of the work done.if they havent spliced any wires, and used the connectors provided in the kit, then you have less chances of the power windows malfunctioning as aftermarket power windows are very prone to damage due to water going inside the window sills.

Their job is very neat.No wires here and there, all connected neatly and tied together with a little plastic wire. BTW my power windows will not get damaged by water entry because, because, because I have done cavity works on all five doors(dickey included).

Thanks everyone for the responses. The Dealer is offering 4 windows power for 13000 and front only for 6500.
I have a side Q. I am interested in the reverse assist. Which one is the best to get for the Swift ? The dealer showed me a xenos model which he said was MGA and quoted Rs4200

As far as I know, the 4 door power window kit is only 11k. My cousin had installed a 2 door kit in his Alto and he didn't want to spend 11k for the 4 door one.

Reverse assist on a small vehicle like Swift? Not really needed.

I have been reading on the forums here that the rear view on the swift is a little lacking.
Has anyone here installed reverse assist on their swift ? Any positive or negative feedback ?
Thanks

I think its a bit late but for anyone who bumps into the thread now, its suggested you go in for RD auto window closure relay with T-Joint. This does not require tempering with wiring harness of the vehicle. So, no problems with electrical warranty. Costs +200-250 INR extra over and above normal relay prices but its worth every penny that goes into it+ 1 year warranty. Website: Rajatdeep Overseas Pvt.
