Phoenix got it's heart today. Engine was started successfully. Wings are sprouting... not too long to takeoff hopefully
Whether it makes this list or not, I dunno... we'll wait and see!

All the cars mentioned thus far are fabulous. My additions to that list:
- Ricky's Autopsyched Lancer
- 1100D's 1100D and Planet Rocker's Padmini... they have been maintained beautifully.
- Viper's Vtec... it flies already, wonder what it'll do after the transplant!

Zakko, car is not yet THERE. To be included in this Hall Of Fame. The day I think it is I shall surely mention it on this thread. Btw, JLO has lost a couple of kgs in weight .

A few clarifications...the car has twin weber carbs and 4x1x2 exhaust..not quad exhausts.
The car has been to various track events but never raced at any of those events except a drag race way back in 1994, in which it won the indian open class.

Ohh boy how did we miss it being here? For me its all the cars which are modded with a passion and zeal to get somewhere (Rahul's car included). It takes a great effort to mod a car and I prefer to choose all the modded cars.

Niki, I would personally choose to talk about Viper's car after its got a transplant... dont know much about his project so cant say much but hang on guys theres something stunning going on i can assure you. Meanwhile his car with its present mods is literally flying, i know, i've had an opportunity to ride in it once.

Thanks for correcting me cinclaturbo. I was remembering an article written about the GT in a magazine a few years ago, i forget which mag it was. I clearly remember the article said it had four carburetors but i agree it must've been twin webbers which the journo described as four (after all if they can make a F430 an Audi whats to stop them from saying it had four carbs) and i did take the liberty of adding the quad tail pipe set up cause he said they had twin exhausts at both ends which i interpreted as quads. I stand corrected. May we have some more info on the GT as sadly almost no info is available on the net. Anyone with more pics of the GT please post, thanks.

It is truly a unique car and a labour o flove. My greatest respects to MR. A.D. Jayaram. I would love to meet him on my next visit and hear from him first hand his story on how he built the Jayaram GT. Anyone know him??!!
Well, I've had the immense privilege of being in the car, looking under the hood, and hearing the car rev. I've also been in an E-type, doing pretty much the same, and I have to say, this was better. Just because of the fact that this was a labour of love.

Now where's that guy who showed it to me? I'd like a ride, you know...

Mad Monkey's Skoda vRS gets my vote. Black, with black alloys and friggin' quick and stable.
