Dittto here. Started with the 70Mai A800S & the A810, and finally narrowed it down to the A229 PLUS 2CH model. I did consider Thinkware, but they are unreasonably expensive. I believe VIOFO provides better bang for the buck considering that they provide Sony Starvis sensors for the rear camera as well and ship with a super capacitor. At this price point, a CPL filter and a memory card would be reasonable to expect.

The advantage with VIOFO 2 channel models, especially A229 series, is that the 3rd channel can always be added later. Similarly, the A139 PRO has a provision for the rear camera in case you want to consider adding one. This can be verified from the front camera module (port #4).

BTW, the recommended option for this use case is the max or pro endurance memory cards, or at least the high endurance option that comes slightly cheaper.
