tachometer for palio EL

hey fellas

My 2002 palio EL_PS model does not have fatory fitted tachometer &
today i inquired @ the car accessories shop were i get most thing, they say for my model tacho's cant be fitted! is that true?

Has any one here got a tacho fitted on the same model as mine.

no responses yet, so it's true i cant fit in a tacho.
now have to dial Mr Psycho!

well - the tacho line is taken out from the ECU. Im in the process of getting it done for my palio - so will keep u posted on the same.

Update- I got the tacho attached. they took the lead from the Ecu, and ahve attached it on the dash. post pictures of it later.

but- this is just to prove that it can be doine. Also, if you approach fiat and ask them to "redo the wiring" they will do it and give you a lead for the tacho. but the manager told me it costs about 10K for wiring, and 30K for the Elx dashboard.

so decided against it.
