Converting a modded car to stock

hey fellas,

i have a rio kitted ohc. its been over a year since a put a kit on my car.
but now i feel tht its very difficult for me to maintain the car.

so i was planning to convert it to stock again.

right now my car is running on 17 inch wheels and the ride is very harsh. also i have raised the suspension.

can anyone advise whether it is feasible to convert the car back to stock.

i am planning to get the car repainted by rio. a good color something like subaru blue or pearl white.

also planning to do up the whole interior again.

am planning to put 13" alloys with broad tyres.

will doing all thing give me the pleasure i had earlier of driving a honda.

advise?

Your car looks awesome.....please dont get her back to STOCK.!
Just get a new paint job and go for 15` rims/tyres.

15" alloys with 205/50/15 will get you the best of both worlds...looks as well as ride quality.

Cheers

hey.. even i own an OHC.
Recently i have changed my tyres.
they are 13 inchers with size 185, tubeless.
ride is good and smooth.. just like honda.

but i would suggest you go for 14inchers as you will get a variety of options in sizes than 13inchers.

your car colour looks awesome, if you want to repaint, do the same colour.

i think your car has wooden interiors, try polishing them.

guys i am really getting confused now.
actually everyone at home wants the car modded and i feel its very difficult to maintain.

my dad wants me to put new 17" alloys and change the paint and keep it modded.

i am planning to pay a visit to Rehaan (RIO) and lets see wht he suggests.

instead of changing alloys..get Koni suspension this will help you improve ride quality...if not that then get 15 or 14 inchers.. 13inchers look bit odd on OHC.. rest see what suits you!!

15's are it...if you want the perfect balance and as ricky said 205/50/15 and make sure they are s-drives yokohama and trust me you'll feel that honda smoothness again.about your color combination...I cant think of any other color than bLUE LOL! I'm sorry but make sure your wheels are black or if the subaru shade is goin on ..then make it the rally gold finish..If you want OZ's in rally gold then PM me.

thats new!!people here are dying to mod their cars and you want to go back to stock.
if you can highlight what all problems you are facing with your modded ride,we could probably sort them out one by one.
one of the issues you would be facing would be ride quality due to 17" rims.as mentioned by the other members ,switch to 15 or 14".
rest we shall discuss as you point out the issues.don't feel disheartened, everybody would come to this stage at least once.i haven't modded my car(at least compared to your car),and i would sometimes feel that the exhaust note was too loud and wished if i could go back to stock.
so its pretty normal.
relax.

its sad to hear that you want to bring the car to stock....most people out here are looking for ways to somehow do something to their rides....in what way are you finding it difficult to maintain it????
as suggested by most members go in for 15 inches as it helps you look wise and does not affect ride quality much...13 inches look weird on a city..is too small for it...
think of the amount of time and hardwork put into moddin your car and then you will realise
