18.5k for the headlamps is pretty expensive. i think its somewhere around12-13k here. Also try put a car which has these installed, the beam may not necessarily be good. someonr in this forum installed angel eyes in his lancer and then removed it as the beam was not as goo as OE lights.

You may get these from any far east country. Cost also should be well within reach.

Hi Chetu, I'm looking for the same too, for a colleague (& friend's) Swift. As far as I know, the Swift's lights cost 13K for the fronts, & 8K for the rear. You get the rear in chrome or black surrounds. If you buy both the front & the rear lights, you can get them for 20K ! While both are bolt-ons, I'm told the front lights are not compatible with the head-light aiming mechanism that's present in the Swift ! So you'll have to manually aim the lights. And yes, Vikram's Swift looks hot with those lights, he was plenty helpful when I PM'd him too. You can also PM SwapZone...

Saw the clear lens Euro type tail lamps (for swift) at Mandovi Motors (service center) when I had given my car for servicing over the weekend.

They quote 7k for the pair and even buy your old tail lamps back for 1k. Haggle a bit and you might get a better deal.

Head light upgrade for swift

Hi Folks,

Iam facing a problem in night driving on the swift ,I feel my headlamp is not that bright enough. It becomes difficult at night driving .Can some one suggest me a upgrade for the head lamps which gives a good vision for better night driving.

I was looking at philips vision plus , any idea and feedbacks on this lamp getting installed in a swift .

Do i need a relay for the upgrade ? Any shop recommendations.

Thanks

@ sandeep3in : there is a separate thread on headlight bulbs. try searching the forum for that.
as for your query, till the time the wattage of the new bulb is same as the stock light you dont need any relay. i dont know about vision plus but you can definitely try philips xtreme power.
