Rain Gutter on Maruti Swift for Roof Rack

Question, I am shopping for a roof rack for Maruti Swift. Could someone tell me if Maruti Swift has a rain gutter or not?

Reason being, Thule or Yakima offer racks based on this feature for a car like Swift.

Your help will be appreciated.

Do you really need a roof-rack?

With a thule roof-rack on the top, the looks of the Swift could go for a toss!

functionality critical here. as for looks, one can create their own fashion statement

@ Bent_gate - any updates on this venture? 1 query i had - how much weight can the swifts roof take (Thule compartment when fully loaded)

Hi!

I came across this thread when thinking of a roof rack since the family wants to get rid of the car I presently drive (Esteem) in favor of something newer and I wanted to present the added capacity as a USP for keeping the car. However, I would want something that can be removed as it would be too wacky for a daily drive. I'm not looking for a Thule box but a simple rack that would be mounted for 4 of 365 days on trips to the country side.

BTW, just in case anyone wants to look at how a roof-top carrier would look on a Swift, I found this (click link) on the W&W thread. Yup, you definitely want something that you can remove and put away when you're not using it.
