Making my E-Zen faster?

Dear BHPians ,

i got a 2003 suzuki zen which had a stock 996 cc mpfi engine , recently i changed some of her parts in order to extract some power like :-

. i replaced the stock engine with an esteem's 1.3L mpfi engine
. i replaced the plugs with NGK IX iridium plugs
. i replaced the plug wires with MSD 8.5 mm wires
. a FSE fuel pressure regulator was in place
. a K&N cold air intake replaced the stock air filter
. i replaced the stock 12 inches rims with 13 inch alloys with wide rubbers
. the complete exhaust was replaced with magnaflow exhaust system

Guys , i was joking to beat a skoda octavia RS with this zen , but can u guys please suggest me some more ways to extract more power from this zen , i got turbo and intercooler in my mind , but need suggestions apart from that .

i need help from fellow BHPians

i think you should try getting raising your compression (head job) and cams?

Sajid - With the above mentioned mods, you are quite close to the vRS. I think before going turbo you should get the engine ported, polished. Get the head shaved and bump the compression, then go for a high lift cam, if still you wanna go faster then think about Turbo.

along with turbo charging you need to get forged pistons and connecting rod..
you can also opt for porting and polishing of head along with high lift cams

you can do all things mentioned in above suggestion, but do get the brakes and suspension changed to match the performance of your car, since the zen is light it needs good work on suspension or it will bounce all over the place, and with that power you need good brakes...by the nice setup.....it'll be a cool ride once you do all this... pic please

absolutely. Make this a priority before you do anything else.

if you did all that the turbo wouldnt work... porting etc... high compression turbo needs low compression
