Project? How about an absolute head-turner?

In our final year (B.tech Automobile engineering), we are required to submit a project.

Well... To cut a long story short-

Here is what a friend/classmate of mine, Shajeen did for his engineering project. Its been coming in the channels and papers here. So, with his permission, sharing this with all of you.

The car is known with TVM-Bhp'ians, as the guy's brother is active in most of the meets.

Will get the technical details soon.

Hi,

There are 2 very similar cars in Mumbai (Caterham replicas I think) made almost 1.5 years ago. Pics are also posted somewhere on Tbhp.

As far as I know, It's a 118ne engine.
This guy has done an amazing job. He even designed the chassis and built it from scratch all by himself. He used his own backyard for all the works. I was stunned for some time when I saw the car first time. Great job! :

Chasis design is based on the Caterham. However, he built the chasis himself.

Nice job man atleast you did something close to Chinkara, as even after being known as hand made car Chinkara never pleased me with its finish and quality. And as a project work you guys did a damn good job, waiting for tech specs with other details.

Nice job! Locost projects are fun!

Those like like Pulsar NitroX shocks up front. Nice to know they are upto job with a heavy NE engine as well. Is the engine set pretty far back?

Great job again!

Nice work mate! Really well cooked for a college project. And it's he deserves an applause considering the fact that the chassis was built from scratch by him.

Would like to meet the man behind it and the machine.

Crazy fill us in on the tech details. Chassis type, rear suspension, performance, handling etc etc..
