Hi, I just got a quote from Electra for 16.5K for complete FFE including headers.

Is this is the right price because I have been seeing quotes in the region of 12K on forum? Or have the prices gone up since 2007-2008 ?

Ps. I was also told that , a bit of extra work for my corsa as they dont have headers in ready stock . They have to measure and make one on order as corsa's seldom come in for FFE incl headers.

Cheers

Dude, you would not be able to source 'off the shelf' headers as header dimensions differ from car to car and irrespective of what people claim headers are locally fabricated. I got a customized FFE done on my ikon 1.6 for a good price and im absolutely in love with it. Ill PM you my number. give me a call when you plan to get your FFE done and ill direct you.

I would prefer the sound to be a deep rumble kind of sound which is not too loud.
There's Raj Hingoranis FFE systems availabel which are considered amongst the best. SYJ has it on his and he's recommended it above Automech which he used to have before he got Rajs kit. According to him, it has better bass sound and performance than the auto-mech.
He also has one extra kit lying around, maybe you could PM him and he'll let you know.. it's for the 1.5EXi.
