Replicas : Exotic / Luxury fakes built on everyday cars

Found this on Honda-Tech.com some time back.

There are like a zillion pics on the page so give it time, infact give it a hell lot of time to load.

But what you'll find in the end will be worth the wait.

Modification beyond imagination.

NSX modifcation

That is height of foolishness. Sad people can spend so much money on such senseless modifications rather than improve the looks or invest that money in doing something else!! IMO its a disrespect to the F50 I would say!

Hey maybe this car after being modified flies like Tarzan. maybe it can do more than that.. Its possible. if you can build a tarzan out of a noble chassis and make a ferrari out of a nsx.. imagine the heights it can climb... .. nO offense...

Aweful! Why do you need to modify an NSX? It's such a nice car anyway - goes well, handles well, looks good, sounds good and feels good.

Hey aadix,

That is foam. Probably Urethane foam.

Its a great material to work with... you can cut it with a knife or saw, and even sand it. You get different densities, generally the more dense = more expensive. The most expensive being this stuff called rennshape.

ps - fibreglass panels have been molded over the foam at a later stage. (and the foam probably then removed)

Why did this guy have to do this to an already good looking car? After looking at it the rear end gives it away. Seeing it carefully makes it seems like a mix of the F40 and F50 together IMO. And I see 2 1:18 models in the picture

Well, i'm pretty amazed with the kind of work done on the car.

Would i buy such a car? no way!! i'd rather buy a NSX-R, than a NSX-F50 lookalike.

Dude, this guy is really freaked out!!! How can he do that on a NSR???This car has a class of its own,and now its screwed up to the bits. And so the F40.
But i guess,i really appreciate this guys patience and hard-work he has put into it.Its not a joke to go thru all this amount of pain.Maybe he cant afford a Ferrari,so he thought of making one. Many people have different dreams.Hats off to him!!
