Having taken the car to Kabini over some rough roads, I can comfirm the car was well controlled and the flexing was reduced. The stiffer shell absorbed the the bumps.

Gave the car to the ladies to drive (my friends wife was driving) and was tailing it as a passenger - noticed the rear end tramping up and down - any ideas was could be done to reduce this ?

Yup, the Vtec does have a ultra stiff rear suspension. Try keeping the tyre pressure at the min recomended psi, even a diff of 1 psi can make things better.

Hey Guys, Iam planning to buy the Strut brace for my OHC Vtec. What will be the cost this year. My other requirements are

- Changing the rubber from existing bridgestone 185 - (change to what?)
- Strut braces - (install new)
- headlight I brought bosch H4 100/90 from metro - (plates are different)
- ECM recalibrate for low speeds

I was hoping to take it to Bosch car service station.. but heard that they dont operate any more..

Any idea on the costs ?? Please help

Voila,.. a revived thread, just in time.

Ajmat, good write up that one. In fact I took your advice for OSRAM Sylverstar and surely "the old man can see better" now

OK,... pls guide me about the strut braces...
- should I fit one for the front and one for the back (me too a DIY guy with a full tool kit)
- and what about the under car ones?... really needed. I have seen some pics of under car strut braces. no idea why.

Anto

Front one took me 15 min to fit

Have got a rear one custom made and fitted by Psycho. That combined with modded shocks have totally transformed the car. Nothing under. Car is set up well as it is

The modded shocks are the stock ones that come from the company and are modded to change the damping and rebound characteristics. As for the strut brace we tend to make them on order and do not stock any part with us. Will take pics from Ajmats car and post.
