Hi man,

cooool alloys & macho tires! what mileage do u get & watt abt ur top speed? also request you to share ur efforts incurred for matching these alloys with the conty...

how about headlight power in ur car, what bulbs have u installed? my contessa has rectangle headlight & experience lack of brightness, u could see my cont pictures in my profile, planning to change into round ones, ur comments pl.,

one suggestion... ur fuel lid position is vertically cross, put it in a horizontal position to gel with the cars dynamics & lines...:thumbs up

Thanxz for the compliments,
Mileage is 14kmpl in city traffic and 18kmpl on highways, top speed is 140kmph

Alloys are direct fit no change to stock hub. They have same PCD 120.5 of BMW, both cars share same Five bolt pattern.
For headlight i use 90/100W blue Halogens in four beams, reflectors are prismatic like new vehilces. check this out

HI Guys
I am trying to soruce alloys for contessa .
WIP
The car is being done in my friend's garage at Pali Naka - Bandra West - Mumbai

Plllllsssss help me out to get alloys for the conti

I am ok with 13 or 15 & no particular design, i just need good wheels for it

PL help GUYS ..........

alloys for contessa : options
best choice - BMW 15 inch alloy rims or 16 or 17 inch alloy rims
indian choice - xylo alloy rims = but you need to do some work on the centre bore (practically shaving the metal in alloy rims not recommended)
practical choice - xylo steel wheel rims - 15 inch with 195/65R15 tyres or 195/60R15 or 205/55R15 tyres if you want (practically 195 width tyres itself is an overkill)
cheapest choice - try 185/85R13 Cooper tyres (ask miyer pls for such tyres) for a good cushioned ride - add a chrome lip to OE 13 inch rims, will look good also.
best regards.

Thanks a to Sekaran
Honestly I am also keen for 13"
For whatever reasons I am not able to source them anywhere in mumbai
I shal definitely pm MIYER to seek his help
Thank you once again.

Hello Mr M. Iyer

Could you Pl help me out with the wheels for the Conti
Need your help urgently ........

I have Pmed u too last evening

Thanks & Regards

I was doing some research as to what modifications I can do to my Contessa 1.8L isuzu 4zb1 when I came across the Holden Gemini g180 which had a isuzu g180 engine - a 1.8L sohc 4 cylinder engine with a similar compression ratio if I remember correctly - which is an older version of the 4zb1 engine that came in the Contessa 1.8L petrol. And upon further reading I came across a website, "www.turbogemini.com" which has a bunch of aftermarket parts for the g180 engine and also the site describes a few mods that can be done to it. So I was wondering if those mods can be done to the Contessa, and whether the parts available will fit or can be adapted to fit the Contessa. Somewhere in the website it is mentioned that some of the parts will also fit the 4z series engine. I'll also post a few pictured of possible mods for the Contessa. I would like to hear everyones comments.

Thank you.
