HM Contessa Upgrade
(
https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/modifications-accessories/35632-hm-contessa-upgrade-5.html)
@teknophobia: dude, just remove the side stripes and increase the breadth of those racing stripes at the center. it ll look much better.
i agree with badboyscad. the side stripes make it look cluttered. Go for a clean look on the contessa. it'll give a better visual impact.
@teknophobia: here is an idea.
an idea for frontal facelift:
wider racing stripes, 1967 shelby gt 500 model bumper, stock contessa front grille widened, wider tires and mustang badge.
with blue stripes:clap:

changed the bumper:

The wider racing stripes and removal of the side stripes I have been planning to do for quite some time already, I'll probably get them done next month. The front conversion tho, I have my doubts, IMHO the Contessa does not have the body shape to carry off a bulbous front.
I had never watched the Contessa so closely even in flesh, and had never found out that one can do wonders with its styling. Really good work badboyscadclap:. By seeing all the photos even i have developed a liking towards the car and so i am going to watch this thread very closely. Keep them coming, also keep us updated both absynthguzzler and hell boy about your respective contiis.

actually, the shelby gt style bumper is not bulbous in real, though it may look like it in the pics. i ll try showing you the side view.:)
here comes this evening's work:
Tadaa, the contessa gt 500lol:
Widened wheel arches, skirts and tires, 2 door coversion, shelby gt front bumper, dark blue window tints, side vents, rear bumper painted white, pillars and handles matte black finish..:)

here, i made an
animated gif showing before and after the mods:
please click on the below image to open the animation in a new window or tab, it may take a few seconds to load. :)

@badboyscad, this PS work is real good, I love the side view, of the conti, you should do some thing with the lights though.
the wheels and tires were looking shabby in the previous pics, so i changed the wheels to "american racing torque thrust 11" and the tires too..

It looks very nice, however, 2 questions, 1) Is it practical and 2) how big a hole in my wallet can I expect? :D

Yes, it is very much practical(the body work).:)
And the answer to the second part of the question? Also, don't you think wire rims would look better?
