@teknophobia: dude, just remove the side stripes and increase the breadth of those racing stripes at the center. it ll look much better.

i agree with badboyscad. the side stripes make it look cluttered. Go for a clean look on the contessa. it'll give a better visual impact.

an idea for frontal facelift:

wider racing stripes, 1967 shelby gt 500 model bumper, stock contessa front grille widened, wider tires and mustang badge.

with blue stripes:

The wider racing stripes and removal of the side stripes I have been planning to do for quite some time already, I'll probably get them done next month. The front conversion tho, I have my doubts, IMHO the Contessa does not have the body shape to carry off a bulbous front.

I had never watched the Contessa so closely even in flesh, and had never found out that one can do wonders with its styling. Really good work badboyscad. By seeing all the photos even i have developed a liking towards the car and so i am going to watch this thread very closely. Keep them coming, also keep us updated both absynthguzzler and hell boy about your respective contiis.

It looks very nice, however, 2 questions, 1) Is it practical and 2) how big a hole in my wallet can I expect?

And the answer to the second part of the question? Also, don't you think wire rims would look better?
