All balenos have the same dials,so its possible on any baleno.

As to exactly how it was done,ill get back to you guys.Pretty sure LEDs have been soldered in.

Will click a few picks of the back when the meter is taken out again.Apparently the Needles are not being lit up.Satya said he would sort it out.

@s0uljah,yeah finally!You'll see it soon ..

Thanks for the comments guys!

LED's are used but they are not soldered in, and there is some other work also involved, putting few leds will not give that look .
For every car there is a different way of doing it, the most commonly done vehicles for these are Swifts, Getz, Santros, Honda Citys, Balenos.
Have done it on some Ikons too, but there the illumination is different, looks good especially on the 1.6 Ikon.

Hi,

It generally goes like this. For e.g. Rs100/- for the L.E.D. and Rs1700/- for knowing what to do with them and where to fit them.

For those into DIY, the following link could be usefull. While it doesnt show how to replace the bulbs, it shows u how to dismantle the instrument cluster and put it back. Also, the EL dials look great but very expensive at $250 !

Its almost impossible on the esteems, I am working on a project for my Zen which is having a similar speedo as yours, so if that works out even yours will.

And yeah, this ain't no rocket science but it is not as simple as putting in a bunch of LEDs either, if that was the case a lot of people in Bangalore would have been doing this as good as we can.
