Nippon Central Locking
(
https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/modifications-accessories/36281-nippon-central-locking-2.html)
The Nippon remote has a option button, what is its purpose. There is no detail about this in the manual. Also the manual contains an old phone numbers.
Does anyone has Chennai contact numbers ?
Are you talking about the Nippon Central locking remote? If so i don't see any option button in my remote. All i can see is a lock, unlock and a panic button.
Please clarify?
Nippon system that comes factory fitted with Marutis has also a very good user manual. You can read this to learn how to program the system with various options.

Hi guys, I too have a NIPPON MGA fit on my SWIFT VDI, But the doors dont lock automatically when ignition is turned on like i had on my earlier car. When i contacted the NIPPON guy here in trichur he says its like that only for SWIFT Diesel. How can that be? can anybody clarify on that?
I too have the NIPPON security system for my swift VDI. For my car whenever the car attains 20KMs speed auto lock will be activated otherwise we have to lock it manually by using the lock/unlock button.
This option can be configured with different ways provided on the manual. Preferably you set this option by a Nippon engineer or by yourself if you can properly follow instructions from the manual.
hi,i own a swift vdi. i want to add remote to my existing central locking.how much would it cost??

Thanks Bro for the Info:thumbs up
Hi Friends,
When I was just reading this thread I found the most important useful thing was the address and Mobile number of the Chennai Nippon office. All those have the Nippon Remote lock system should copy and keep in a visible place in case of in need of Emergency.
Today I have fitted Nippon Mobile Security System (NCS-6666) in my Ritz VDi. As my car comes with company fitted central locking, no need to fit the door motors thus, the system cost me Rs. 2800/-. The remote has an option button - in the manual it's function is not mentioned anyewhere. Could anybody throw some light on the functionality of the Option button? (Sorry for the poor quality photos, taken by cell phone).
Isn't the option button for identification of the car?
If you press the button, either you hear the sound of your central locking system or the indicators blink or both(sound+indicator blink) work together to identify your car , Your car still remains locked when this button is pressed.
