I plan to replace the license plate design on my Ford Ikon with a customized design. The font of the letters probably wouldn't be changed, but it'd have an additional 2in X 2in custom-designed block on the sides.

The main reason for replacing the license plate is that the letters on the license plate are spaced unevenly. There's less than 1cm gap between the first 2 letters, it then progressively increases to about 4cm between the last 2 letters! These plates were provided by Planet Ford after the registration process, it also includes their dealership name in the bottom part. It seems that most other vehicles from Planet Ford also have these unevenly spaced letters on their license plates.

Is there any shop other than the dealers where these license plate can be made in Pune city? Is it possible to get just the custom-designed block sent by the courier service?

HI I belive you are talking about custom Registration plates. If you want to use some different fonts & design on the same plate then there are a plenty I knew one which had done a decent job for My ZMA's number plate. I dont remember the name but its near East street. Let me know if you are looking for something similar, I will let you know details
