I am wondering if i can find aftermarket electronically adjustable ORVMs for my alto vxi. Any pointers on cost,feasibility,availability(mumbai)
thanks
Those are called "electrically adjustable ORVM's". Haven't heard of "electronically adjustable...." as yet!
Looking for the same for the Swift too.
It is a welcome addition for any car.Fitments of MGA accessory would not be possible as there is no provision for the switch on the door pad.You have to inquire about it in the accessory shops.

@RAM
how much do the internally adjustable RVM come for for an alto lxi... the ones used on an alto vxi.
None of the accessory shops in bangalore have anything like it. Will try looking on the net.

Prajesh shouldn't be a problem man, IMO you can do it.
Swift doesnt have electric OVRM?? I thought even Wagon R had electric OVRMs.
Indeed WR has electrically controled ORVM.The ORVM in alto is internally adjustable not electrically operated.The price would be nearly 1250 for each.

I have seen a kit on the Swift!!! The Mirror not only adjust electrically but also it folds electrically like the mirrors on corolla/civic etc.
What impressed me also was that the way it folded it would fold like the BMW 7 series vertically.

Was the design of that mirror similar to the stock one??

No it was a little small than the OE one, It had Turn indicators on it as well
Some Pictures i found!! Look at the Mirrors on the White Swift!! See the way they have been folded!!! They open back electrically as well!!
Do lookout for non MGAs if you are looking for internally adjustable. The MGA price is twice that of some unknown brand that I had bought 5 years back for my alto. Note that they are still working fine whereas I have seen a original Alto VXi mirror not working just after a year!
