INNOVA VVTi RPM meter & upgrade

Dear all ,

I got a 2005 INNOVA VVTi.It is an amazing vehicle.
But I am surpised that it does not have a RPM meter. I am so used to it.

I know that the diesel Innova has it. Can I get that fitted on to the petrol?

Also I want to get the AC changed to Dual A/C is that possible and if yes what kind of changes does that require? Do you have know any place I can get that done around Andheri , Mumbai .

Yea also want to get the upholstery shampooed and waxed.

Any help would be appreciated.

as far as i know all innovas have had rpm meters unless yours is an e grade (the one with black bumpers). in that case youll have to get an aftermarket one or you can try and get toyota people to get the innova rpm meter fitted on. also for dual ac approach the toyota people.

Actually Petrol version does not have a E model. Its a G1 . which is the base for Petrol.

It has body coloured bumpers. Shoud I go to toyota for the rpm . Cause I think that will charge me alot for it.

you can go for any tachometer. toyota would charge more but if you want a stock look then that is the best.

@rash28

if u want the stock look of the tachometer then approach toyota...but there is the cost factor as akshay1234 said...an aftermarket tachometer should be around 4-5k...as far as the dual a/c is concerned approach toyota...no idea about aftermarket dual a/c's....anyway pal..all the best..

It seems the entire loom has to be changed to upgrade the Tachometer it would cost around 25 K at toyota. So thats out of the question.

I want to try outside . Does anyone know a place where I can get that done ?
